Overview / About us

Lumanity is seeking intellectually curious, team-oriented individuals eager to roll up their sleeves and help biopharma clients address their most important challenges as part of the Asset and Organizational Strategy Consulting practice. At Lumanity, strategy consultants gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the pharma and biotech product life cycle, ranging from pre-commercial strategy and pipeline prioritization to go-to-market strategy and new product launches.

Responsibilities / Position overview

  • Gather and effectively leverage primary and secondary research to address our clients’ business problems
  • Perform rigorous analyses to gain insights into products, markets, and competitors
  • Prioritize key issues, build and test hypotheses, and transform key learnings into practical implications
  • Engage in out-of-the-box thinking to help craft innovative, actionable insights for our clients
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and firm development

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated quantitative aptitude 
  • Solid critical thinking ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be based in the Metro-Boston area; periodic travel may be required
  • Associate level: Bachelor’s degree and/or one-year master’s degree in life science discipline
  • Senior Associate level: Advanced degree candidate (doctoral-level or two-year master’s) in a life sciences or health-related field OR bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of direct and relevant life sciences consulting experience
